PENGARUH LATIHAN CORE STABILITY TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KESEIMBANGAN DINAMIS DAN KEKUATAN OTOT PADA ATLET PEMULA

Abstract

Core stability merupakan fondasi penting untuk menghasilkan kekuatan dan stabilitas tubuh yang optimal dalam berbagai cabang olahraga, terutama bagi atlet pemula yang sedang membangun dasar kemampuan fisik mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh latihan core stability terhadap peningkatan keseimbangan dinamis dan kekuatan otot pada atlet pemula. Desain penelitian menggunakan randomized controlled trial dengan melibatkan 50 atlet pemula yang dibagi menjadi kelompok intervensi core stability dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok intervensi menjalani program latihan core stability tiga kali seminggu selama delapan minggu dengan protokol latihan progresif meliputi plank, side plank, bridge, dan dead bug. Keseimbangan dinamis diukur menggunakan Star Excursion Balance Test dan kekuatan otot core diukur melalui tes plank hold time dan sit-up test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan keseimbangan dinamis pada kelompok core stability dengan peningkatan jarak jangkauan rata-rata 8,2 persen pada arah anterior, 10,5 persen pada arah posteromedial, dan 9,8 persen pada arah posterolateral dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Kekuatan otot core juga meningkat signifikan dengan peningkatan plank hold time sebesar 65 persen dan sit-up sebesar 42 persen. Temuan ini mengonfirmasi bahwa latihan core stability efektif meningkatkan keseimbangan dinamis dan kekuatan otot pada atlet pemula.
